Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) seeks a dedicated RN for its Gastrointestinal and General Surgery inpatient unit. You will collaborate with surgical teams and a broad multidisciplinary group to provide high-quality pre- and post-operative care for our diverse patient populations.

The role requires 1 year of hospital RN experience, a valid Oregon RN license, and BLS certification. BSN or ADN graduates are welcome, with orientation and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of current RN experience in a hospital setting.
• BSN graduates: accredited by CCNE/ACEN/CNEA or equivalent; ADN graduates: accredited program; licensure required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with surgical service teams and multidisciplinary staff to deliver evidenced-based pre- and post-operative patient care.
• Support patients and families, coordinate care with PT/OT, dietitians, social workers, and pharmacists.
