Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Larimore, ND is seeking a full-time RN for a long-term care facility. This 12-hour night shift role offers 36 weekly hours, with a competitive salary range and a $30,000 sign-on bonus.

You will provide nursing care using the nursing process, collaborate with residents, families, and the care team, and support residents across all phases of care. Requires RN licensure; multistate licensure may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Unencumbered RN license with state Board of Nursing; multistate licensure if applicable.
• Maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adhere to standards.
• Care for residents in preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Coordinate resident care, assessments, education, and nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff with supervision.

Responsibilities

Full Time RN position at our Long Term Care facility.

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families, inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adhere to age- and population-specific standards in the clinical setting.
• Care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Coordinate resident care, assessments, education, and various other nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within job descriptions and competency levels; provide supervision and support to ensure safe, reliable resident care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA) preferred; Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
