Job summary

The Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center of Rhode Island in Coventry, RI is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, maintaining patient records, coordinating with staff, and delivering professional services as ordered. A current RN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in RI.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and related regulations.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Complete and file required recordkeeping forms for admissions, transfers, discharges.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop and maintain good rapport with inter-departmental personnel.
• Administer professional services such as catheterization and dressings.
