Job summary

AdventHealth Apopka is seeking a registered nurse to join our full-time team on days, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 36 hours per week. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Minimum ADN required with RN license; BSN preferred. The campus offers professional development through Clinical Ladder, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• Associates of Nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s of Nursing preferred.
• RN license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care.
• Collaborate with care teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document care activities accurately in medical records.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
