Job summary
AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. You will conduct assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and coordinate with multidisciplinary staff in a fast-paced hospital setting.
You must be an RN with an active Florida license, BLS, and strong English communication and computer skills. Acute care experience is preferred and clinical ladder opportunities enhance growth.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- RN license active in Florida; BLS required.
- 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
- Administer medications per physician orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure communication.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and outcomes.
