Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a registered nurse for full-time, 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts. The RN will prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care, and participate in teaching for patients and families, while leading with a collaborative approach within the care team.

Summary Job Description: Full time/ 36 hours weekly/ 12 hour shifts/ Mid-shift The RN prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients; participates in patient and family teaching; and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Creates a positive customer service environment.

Job Duties: Assessment and identification of patient needs Implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service. Delegation of nursing care activities and provisions of supervision; establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care; assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems; and performs technical aspects of care competently.

Requirements: Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required. Minimum Nursing Degree: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher (BSN, MSN, etc.)
