Job summary

Valle Vista Health System, a 132-bed acute care behavioral health hospital in Greenwood, IN, is seeking Registered Nurses to provide compassionate care across units for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. The role involves nursing assessments, documentation, treatment planning, and medication management within our multidisciplinary team.

• Shifts: 7:00am–7:30pm, 3 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Nursing assessment of patients.
• Nursing documentation of care and progress.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans per plan.
• Medication administration and medical management.
• Milieu management and clear communication.
• Crisis intervention when needed.
• Staff and patient education.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate's degree from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current license to practice nursing in State of Indiana (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Days – 7:00a to 7:30p (3- 12-hour shifts)

Job Responsibilities include:

• Ensures individual treatment plans are implemented and properly documented.
