Universal Health Services' Bloomington Meadows Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse (R.N.) to deliver, coordinate, and evaluate patient care within a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes collaborative nursing practice, safety, and age-appropriate care in both inpatient and outpatient programs.

Licensed in Indiana with CPR/First Aid and crisis intervention training; two years in a psychiatric setting preferred. Non-exempt, full-time position with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Two years of psychiatric health-care facility experience preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice by Indiana State Board of Nursing.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification and non-violent crisis intervention within 90 days of employment.

The Staff Nurse must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served. Qualifications

Education:

Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience:

A minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure:

Currently licensed to practice by the Indiana State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements:

CPR/AED/First Aid certification, non violent physical crisis intervention completion & appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraining process. Must pass a medication administration exam.
