Job summary

Wellpath in Louisiana is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process under the supervision of Charge Nurses. The role emphasizes compassionate care, collaboration, and adherence to clinical standards.

You will administer medications, educate patients, and participate in care planning with a warm, supportive team. A valid RN license in the state and CPR certification are required; clinic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of one year clinic experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs.
• Administer medications and assist with diagnostic tests and minor procedures.
• Count controlled substances and ensure policy-compliant care.
• Document nursing encounters and participate in mandatory staff meetings.
• Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisors.
