Openwork Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for PCU/IMC/Stepdown in Florida. You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team, and support transitions from critical to stable conditions.

The role requires an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and prior experience in PCU/IMC/Stepdown. Excellent assessment, communication, and teamwork are essential, with ongoing onboarding and professional development provided.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications may be required depending on facility.
• Experience in PCU, IMC, or Stepdown units strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with healthcare providers.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding ongoing care, procedures, and health management strategies.
• Respond to changes in patient condition, elevate care as necessary, and participate in rapid response situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Support infection control practices and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
