Job summary

Central Minnesota Mental Health Center in St. Cloud, MN, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team.

You will manage the medication system, administer and document psychotropic and other meds, and collaborate with psychiatrists, NPs or CNS to support recipients with SPMI. This full-time role involves dynamic team participation, ongoing medication education, and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed by Minnesota as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience with medication management in a mental health setting is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with psychiatrists, NP/CNS and ACT team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise and ensure adherence to medication policies and procedures.
• Administer, transcribe and document medication orders and administration.
• Evaluate effectiveness and note reactions/side effects of psychotropic meds.
• Provide medication education to recipients and train team members as needed.
• Participate in daily/weekly interdisciplinary team meetings and share updates with the psychiatrist.
