Job summary

365healthstaffing is seeking Registered Nurses to provide compassionate care in care centers serving patients experiencing homelessness with complex medical and psychiatric needs. You may work non-traditional settings and outside of typical clinical areas, offering aftercare support and independent, cool-tempered care with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include routine procedures, overdose monitoring and naloxone administration, thorough charting, patient education, and interprofessional

Qualifications

• RN diploma from an accredited nursing program with valid nursing license.
• 6 months to 1 year paid nursing experience.
• Facility is open 24/7; must be flexible on 8 hr or 12 hr shifts.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• All health records up to date (MMR/VZV, TB).
• Pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine procedures (vital signs, medications, MAR, charting, wound care).
• Monitor patients for overdose symptoms and administer naloxone or other interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document progress or changes in condition.
• Provide health management education and disease prevention guidance.
• Collaborate with health care team and report changes to staff.

Job description

We are looking for Registered Nurses for Care Centers. Due to the nature of the patients/clients and community we will be serving we are sharing qualities that will align with the setting. Open to working in a non-traditional clinical setting, including comfort providing care outside of traditional clinical area. RN will be providing non-judgmental and compassionate care for patients who are experiencing homelessness and have complex and often severe medical and psychiatric conditions. RN will need to be compassionate, cool-tempered, and can work independently and with minimal supervision. The goal is to promote aftercare support for the Homeless.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine procedures (Vitals, Administer Medications, Fill out MAR, Charting, and Wound Care)
• Monitoring patients for signs of overdose and administering naloxone or other interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate medical records, documenting patient progress and any changes in condition
• Provide education and support to patients regarding health management and disease prevention
• Working with other members of the health care team (reporting all information and any changes to next of staff) Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods, procedures, and knowledge of emergency care

Requirements

• RN diploma from an accredited nursing program with Valid nursing license
• Must have 6months -1yrs paid experience
• Facility is open 24/7 must be flexible on working 8hr days and stay up to 12hrs
• Must have BLS (AHA)
• All health records up to date (MMR/ VZV Titers, Physical, TB, )
• Be able to pass drug screen and background

Details

Looking for Nurse that is FLEXIBLE on schedule to do 2 different shifts. (Night will need to work 3pm-11pm or 11pm-8am) Nurses with 6months-1yr pay $48-$52 Nurses with 3yrs +$ 53 Local or $55
