Job summary

Apploi in Chicago is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Extended Care affiliated facility. Open interviews are held Monday–Friday 11:00 am–3:00 pm. 12-hour shifts with a full benefits package for full-time team members.

We aim to deliver compassionate care, support residents, and maintain high clinical standards. RN license, weekend availability, and strong communication are required to join a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• RN license is required by the state.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Background check as per state requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of multitasking in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of nursing assistants.
• Complete required resident records upon admission, discharge, transfer.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Make daily rounds and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

RN’s must have the following:

• Nursing License required by the state.
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Compliant with the state’s Health Care Worker Background Check requirements with respect to criminal history
• Must be able to relate positively and favorably to our residents and visitors.
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and able to handle stress.
• Must be energetic, professional, and reliable.

As a skilled, compassionate RN, you will:

• Direct the day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants.
• Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies.
• Make daily rounds of unit and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
