Job summary

BrightStar Care of Maple Grove & Andover is seeking a registered nurse to provide 1:1 care for a student with special needs within the school setting. You will ride the bus with the child and care hours run from 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM on a per diem basis. The schedule follows the school calendar with no weekends or holidays.

This role offers competitive pay and a fixed daytime routine. Pediatric experience and MN RN licensure are required, with familiarity in managing medications and devices such as

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience caring for pediatrics.
• Experience administering and managing medication.
• G-tube, trach and vent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Critical Care Experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage medication.
• Provide daily supportive care.
• Document care using BrightStar Care and school guidelines.
• Accompany and monitor the student at all times during the school day, including transportation to and from school.
