Job summary

EverSource in New York City Public Schools is seeking an RN for 1:1 school-based care for medically fragile students. This role supports health, safety, and access to education in a daytime school setting.

Ideal candidates will have NYS RN licensure, 3+ years of nursing experience, and CPR/First Aid certification. Excellent communication and independent clinical judgment are essential for success in this program.

Qualifications

• Active NYS RN license.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Pediatric, school-based, home care, or community-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication and independent clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one nursing services to a medically fragile student throughout the school day.
• Support students with needs that may include seizure care, diabetes management, G-tube feeding, suctioning, oxygen administration, ventilator support, pulse oximetry, medication administration, and other skilled interventions.
• Ride the bus with the student if required by the assignment.
• Partner with school personnel, family members, and care teams.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with DOE and NYS requirements.

$50 to $60+ per hour | 1099 Independent Contractor

Our client is now building their RN team for the upcoming school year and are seeking experienced nurses to provide 1:1 care for medically fragile students in NYC schools.
