Job summary

The Royal Oak Hospital Float Pool at Corewell Health seeks an experienced RN to deliver high‑quality care across Med/Surg and Progressive Care units, with no guaranteed ICU assignments.

Requirements: 2+ years acute care RN experience, Michigan RN license, and an ACEN/CCNE‑accredited nursing program (Associate or Diploma). Bachelor’s required within 5 years for GN or RN with <1 year experience; BLS at hire.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing from ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
• Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire; other certifications may be required depending on floating area.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide professional care and discharge planning.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with patient/family involvement.
• Provide teaching strategies for patient/family education and document learning in health records.
