Job summary

The Royal Oak Hospital is seeking a part-time RN for the Float Pool to provide flexible nursing coverage across Medical/Surgical, Progressive Care, and limited ICU areas in the Royal Oak campus.

As part of Corewell Health, you will collaborate with diverse teams, apply nursing process, and deliver patient-family centered care with emphasis on quality outcomes and teaching when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing from an ACEN accredited program, required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience.
• Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years in a licensed health care role and must have passed the NCLEX licensure examination.

Responsibilities

• The RN provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader and uses patient/family input in planning the plan of care.
• Documents education and learning appropriately in the health record.

Education
