Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program, required.
• Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience, required.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) license, required.
• American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Float Pool nurses support Medical/Surgical and Progressive Care units within Royal Oak Hospital.
• Provide professional nursing care across patient populations using nursing process.
• Collaborate with unit teams and educate patients and families as needed.
