Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas for a 13-week seasonal contract on the night shift.

The role features a 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM schedule with a $1,500 completion bonus, evening/night/weekend shift differentials, and potential for conversion to a full-time, part-time, or PRN role after the assignment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Med Telemetry experience in an acute care hospital.
• Must be able to pass Telemetry Test upon hire.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for Med Telemetry patients in acute care.
• Assist with float pool assignments across Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU and PCU as needed.

Seasonal Commitment Information

• Full-time Seasonal weekly requirements are three 12-hour shifts for the 13-week contract (excludes 1st week of orientation)
• $1,500 completion bonus for meeting minimum productive time
• $51 Seasonal rate.
• Eligible for shift differentials. $3.50 for evenings, $5 for nights, and $6 for weekends. These are stackable (as applicable by time/day) so if you worked a weekend night, you would be paid $51 + $5 + $6.
• Weekend requirements are the same as regular FT- Rotating weekends
• The first week is Monday- Friday orientation.
• Although this is a short term (13 week) assignment, you would be a Baylor employee (not contractual, agency, etc.). The hope is that once the assignment is concluded, you will convert to a regular FT, PT, or PRN role.

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• License/Certification
• 2+ years of Med Telemetry experience in a acute care with inpatient in a hospital setting
• Float Pool experience highly desired, but not required
• Must have experience with Med Tele candidates with insulin drips, stable drips, NIH assessment
• ED Holds experience
• Must be able to pass Telemetry Test upon hire
