Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool for The Jewish Hospital. ICU experience is required and the RN may float to other units within the hospital.

The RN Float Pool assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care following established standards. The role includes flexibility to float across departments, participate in staffing, and support travel or seasonal assignments with professional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required for licensure.
• BSN preferred based on unit and specialty assignment.
• Current RN license in designated state; BLS required.
• ACLS/PALS may be required based on unit.

Responsibilities

• Float across units to provide patient care as needed.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients.
• Collaborate with clinical managers and teams on care delivery.
• Document interventions and outcomes in the electronic health record.
