Job summary

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse in the Float Pool to deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment. This role offers 12-Hour Night Shifts (19:00–07:30), 48 hours every two weeks, and benefits.

You will float among four major Med/Surg Telemetry units, work with a multidisciplinary team, and provide leadership to the Care Team. New Hire Incentive of $2k for part-time is available; holidays and weekends included.

Qualifications

• RN license required and valid in California.
• Experience in Med/Surg or telemetry beneficial.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care including assessment, planning, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care.
• Take leadership and guide the care team on the unit.

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Patient Care:Deliver direct care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient progress towards expected outcomes.
• Team Collaboration:Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care and support for patients and their families.
• Leadership:Take primary responsibility for patient care, guiding the Care Team under your supervision to foster a team-oriented approach.

As part of our site-based float pool (SBFP), you will have the chance to float among four major Med/Surg Telemetry units, gaining diverse experience while providing quality care.
