Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking experienced RNs to join our RN Premium Float Team. The float team offers exposure to a variety of medical/surgical and critical care units across the hospital, allowing you to apply diverse clinical skills and competencies.

Qualified candidates will have an NH RN license, BSN preferred, and a minimum of one year of nursing experience with BLS. This role features opportunities for professional growth and working in multiple acute care areas.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • Registered Nurse license for New Hampshire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Apply nursing judgments using organized, purposeful thinking to make clinical decisions.
  • Gather data via history and physical assessments to plan and implement interventions.
  • Develop, evaluate and revise patient care plans as needs change.
  • Document care provided and patient progress toward outcomes.
  • Direct and supervise others in delegated nursing activities.
  • Educate patient and significant others about the plan of care.
  • Prepare patients for discharge, transfer, or procedures/tests.
  • Manage time and resources to deliver patient care.
  • Administer medications and provide direct patient care.
  • Lead the health care team and serve as a resource on shift.
  • Precept new employees.

Summary

Concord Hospital is seeking experienced RNs to join our RN Premium Float Team. The float team offers you the opportunity to use your diverse clinical skills and competencies in a variety of acute care settings. This float team position will offer exposure to a variety of medical/ surgical and critical care units across the hospital and provide you with an opportunity to further develop your skill base.

Education

Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.

Certification, Registration & Licensure
  • Registered Nurse - New Hampshire Board of Nursing
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
Experience

One year prior clinical nursing experience.

Evidence of experience in working effectively and positively with patients, care providers, and the multi-disciplinary team. Evidence of the ability to perform as a member of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Bases nursing actions by applying principles of purposeful, organized thinking to make clinical judgment/decisions.
