Job summary

Advocate Trinity Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Nursing Float Pool. The role requires 0.6 FTE with a 24-hour work week, day shift, and at least two years of nursing experience.

Will float to other units as needed and provide patient-centered care following ANA ethics and clinical protocols. Minimum education includes graduation from a Board of Nursing approved program with BLS certification; RN license with active privileges is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges to practice in the required state.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in professional governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation and communicates with the care team.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
