Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Float Pool RN to provide patient care across ED, ICU, PCU and other Med-Surg units. The role supports learning and teamwork in a dynamic overnight environment.

Eligible candidates may receive a Night Shift Sign On Bonus: Graduate Nurse $10,000; Experienced Nurse $13,000. Ideal candidates are committed, compassionate, and able to adapt to multiple units as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state/compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required or within 30 days of hire.

Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Mercy Health System, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the State Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics, and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Units you may float to based on experience:

ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, all Med-Surg units, and Acute Rehab.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
