Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Float Pool RN for Night shift at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO. You will provide patient care using the nursing process and collaborate across units to support ED, ICU, and Med-Surg as needed.

Graduates or experienced nurses can receive a substantial sign-on bonus: $10,000 for Graduate Nurse and $13,000 for Experienced Nurse. The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and flexible scheduling in a 36-hour weekly grid.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain current RN license and state requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Coordinate care with other departments and maintain patient rights.
• Float to multiple units (ED/ICU/Med-Surg) per experience.

Units you may float to based on experience:

ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, all Med-Surg units, and Acute Rehab.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
