Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking Float Pool Registered Nurses for full-time night shifts. Enjoy a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and a Stay Premium program that adds up to $8/hour based on tenure. The Float Pool rotates across ED, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical units.

Eligible candidates hold an accredited RN degree and a Missouri or compact license. BLS is required within 30 days, with ACLS/PALS possible depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in Missouri or compact license.
• 1+ year RN experience preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) may be required depending on assignment.
• Able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as part of the Float Pool across multiple units.
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintain patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Adhere to Mercy Service Standards and Nursing Professional Practice Model.

• Emergency Department
• ICU
