Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking Registered Nurses for the Float Pool. This full-time, night-shift role (36 hrs/week) offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.

RNs will rotate across Emergency, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical units, delivering care with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient advocacy. Mercy provides day-one medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, tuition support, and employer‑matched retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in Missouri or a compact license.
• 1+ year RN experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model.
• Rotate across units in the Float Pool (ED, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, Medical‑Surgical).
• Coordinate care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment with flexibility and learning opportunities.

Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information.
