Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Plano, Texas, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Float Pool. You will oversee patient care using a professional practice model, perform detailed assessments, recognize health issues, and create and evaluate care plans.

Minimum 2.5 years of acute care hospital experience, valid RN license, and BLS certification (or within 30 days) are required. This FT Days role involves 3/12-hour shifts with strong teamwork and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program or have two years of relevant work experience.
• Nursing should be the main area of study.
• Minimum 2.5 years of acute care hospital experience.
• You must be a registered nurse (RN).
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Identify health issues and respond with appropriate interventions.
• Educate patients and families to support informed healthcare decisions.
