Job summary

UnityPoint Health-Meriter is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care, assessing and planning care per hospital policies and collaborating with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.

The RN will supervise delegated nursing tasks, participate in care standards, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive workplace; orientation will occur during day shifts. EEO/M/F/D/V.

Qualifications

• BSN required; other nursing degrees considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Current Wisconsin RN license or eligibility to obtain one.
• CPR certification or eligibility to complete within three months of hire.

TheRegistered Nurseperforms patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation of an accredited school of nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care according to hospital policies, procedures, protocols and care standards. Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN). Will consider other nursing degrees on an individual basis.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
• CPR certification or be eligible to complete within three months of hire

Preferred:

• BSN
• EPIC Super User or demonstrated EPIC proficiency
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and teach
• Effective communication skills

**Must be available for Nursing Orientation during the day shift the first2 weeks of employment.**
