Job summary

Essentia Health in Virginia, Minnesota, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at Virginia Hospital. The role offers a 36-hour work week with 12-hour day and night shifts, including Baylor weekends, and may include a remote/hybrid option.

You will provide nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, with BSN or ADN required and BCLS within one month. Preferred CCU and ER experience helps you thrive in this community-focused, patient-centered care

Clinical Responsibilities

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Licensure and Certification Requirements

Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month. BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing. Preferred Critical Care and ER experience.

Schedule and Work Hours

FTE: 36 hours per week (paid for 40 hours). Shift: 12 hour shift; Day/Night rotation. Day Shift: 7:00AM - 7:30PM. Overnight Shift: 7:00PM - 7:30AM. Works Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Baylor Position). Possible Remote/Hybrid Option. Shift Rotation: Day/Night Rotation (United States of America). Shift Start Time: 7:00am - 7:30pm/7:00pm - 7:30am. Shift End Time. Weekends: Every Weekend. Holidays: Yes. Call Obligation: No.

Compensation

Compensation Range: $44.69 - $64.48.
