Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care across the patient care team in an acute care setting. You will deliver leadership and support to the healthcare team, aligning with our Patient-Centered Care philosophy.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Nevada RN license and current BLS; BSN preferred. One-year FT or three years PT experience in acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• One-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the state Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification, Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
