Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Frisco, TX is seeking an RN Float for PRN Night shifts in the ED/ICU (primarily ED). You will assess patients, develop care plans, delegate to team members, and ensure smooth transitions with a nursing model.

Job description

Location: Baylor Centennial - Frisco, TX
Shift: PRN Nights
Unit: ED and ICU - primarily ED
PRN Requirements: 6 shifts every 6 weeks, plus one minor and one major holiday per year. Must be able to attend orientation for 1 week during day hours if hired.

Job Summary

As an RN Float, you are vital in healthcare, coordinating patient care based on our nursing model. You assess patients, plan personalized care, and evaluate responses to health issues. You keep patients safe by understanding their needs and the healthcare setting for smoother transitions. You delegate interventions to team members based on guidelines, patient condition, and team abilities. Your professionalism and experience help you make important recommendations that impact patient outcomes.
