Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a qualified RN Float to support adult acute care inpatient units in Irving, Texas. The role involves coordinating patient care by assessing needs, planning interventions, and evaluating patient responses to health issues. Candidates must have 2 years of critical care/ER experience, a nursing degree, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

Relocation assistance is available for candidates moving 50+ miles from their current residence.

The float pool RN supports all adult acute care inpatient units: ICU/CCU, PCU, Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, Rehabilitation, ED (qualified only)

Assignments based on competency and acuity. ICU floats to PCU; PCU floats to Telemetry

• Must have 2 years of critical care/ER experience**

Hours: FT Nights | 7PM- 7AM

As an RN Float, you are vital in healthcare, coordinating patient care based on our nursing model. You assess patients, plan personalized care, and evaluate responses to health issues. You keep patients safe by understanding their needs and the healthcare setting for smoother transitions. You delegate interventions to team members based on guidelines, patient condition, and team abilities. Your professionalism and experience help you make important recommendations that impact patient outcomes.

Registered Nurse Requirements

• Candidates must have 2 years of experience in Critical Care/ER or combined Med Surg and Critical Care/ER experience
