Job summary

Harrison County Hospital is seeking a full-time RN Float Nurse for the ICU/ER to cover nights (Thursday–Saturday) across ED and ICU. You will deliver direct patient care, float between ED and ICU based on census and staffing needs, and participate in a collaborative nursing team to ensure safe patient care across departments.

Requirements include RN license in Indiana, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and completion of a critical care course or equivalent ICU/ER experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited nursing school.
• RN license in the state of Indiana.
• Completion of hospital approved critical care course and/or comparable experience in critical care nursing and/or emergency room.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ED/ICU per nursing standards.
• Float between ED and ICU based on census, acuity, and staffing needs.
• Work on a cross-functional nursing team ensuring safe patient care on shift.
