Harrison County Hospital is seeking a full-time RN Float Nurse for the ICU and Emergency Department. This night-shift role involves covering Thursdays through Saturdays (36 hours/week) with assignments between ED and ICU as needed to maintain staffing levels.

The RN will provide direct patient care under nursing supervision, adhering to Indiana Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. A valid Indiana RN license and critical care training are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Indiana and graduation from accredited nursing program.
• Critical care course completion and/or ICU/ER experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic nursing skills and venipuncture with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ED/ICU setting.
• Work within nursing department standards and ethics.
• Assess patient status and implement nursing care plans.

BLS/PALS/ACLS trained

NIH stroke scale
