Job summary

Williamsburg Health & Rehabilitation Center in Williamsburg, KY is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for prn or part-time shifts to deliver compassionate care in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Nursing.
• Bachelor's or better in Nursing.
• Experience in a long-term health care setting is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing knowledge to provide basic preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative care for assigned patients.
• Perform delegated independent nursing functions using established procedures, policies, guidelines and standards.
• Administer medication accurately, observing patient response and documenting in the medical record.
• Maintain and coordinate communication among patient/family, staff and physician in the health care team.
• Prepare and deliver shift reports with pertinent information for assigned patients.
• Collaborate with other health care team members to coordinate patient care.
• Provide patient and family education using one-on-one or group methods.
