Maplewood Health & Rehab in Lancaster, KY is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality nursing care in a resident-centered skilled nursing and long-term care setting. Shifts available: PRN, with competitive pay ($35–$40.02 per hour) and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kentucky
• CPR/BLS Certification required
• Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended time periods
• Team player with strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to meet resident needs per standards and orders
• Plan nursing interventions based on individual needs
• Evaluate care interventions and adjust as needed
• Conduct family and resident education
• Administer medications and treatments per policy
• Transcribe orders and document progress
• Identify and report changes in condition to supervisor/physician/family
• Follow skin management protocols for skin changes
• Order and report diagnostic tests
• Coordinate rehab with therapists
• Monitor CNA documentation and assignments
• Perform additional nursing tasks per Nurse Practice Act
