Job summary

Rehabilitation Hospital of Southern New Mexico in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time day and night shifts, with Per Diem options. Join a world-class team focused on service excellence and patient independence after illness or injury.

You will work within an interdisciplinary team, providing compassionate care, assessments, planning, and evaluations to prevent complications and restore function, while upholding hospital mission and guiding principles.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited Registered Nursing program required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license and CPR certification required.
• 1 year recent acute care experience preferred; ACLS preferred in LTACH/Texas hospitals.
• Knowledge of infection control, standards and nursing theory essential.
• Strong communication, organization, time management and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care, patient assessments, planning and evaluation.
• Coordinate interventions to prevent complications and restore function.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Therapists within the interdisciplinary team.
