Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Coordinates patient care activities for the clinic.
• Prepares equipment and assists provider during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing of patients.
• Observes, records, and reports patient condition and reactions to drugs and treatments to provider.
• Oversees appointment scheduling and ensures flow, prioritizing emergencies.
• Greets patients and prepares them for physical examination, collects health history and vitals, and documents in patient charts.
• Instructs patient in sample collection and tests, and educates patients and families about diagnosis, medications, nutrition, and wellness.
