Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Society Albion provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process. They collaborate with residents, families and a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.

The RN coordinates care, conducts resident assessments and education, and delegates tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel as appropriate, upholding professional standards and the organization\'s mission.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, assess residents and provide education and nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
