Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents, using the nursing process and coordinating with families and interdisciplinary teams. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care while adhering to standards of practice.

This 36-hour-per-week flex position pays premium wages with a $1.25 shift differential for 6pm–6am and an additional weekend incentive.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA) preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state where practice occurs or multistate licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate residents and families and perform a range of nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
