Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized care to residents using the nursing process across all phases of care. You will collaborate with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care plans, while upholding professional standards.

This flex, 36-hour-per-week position pays at a premium wage with shift differentials and weekend incentives, and offers a $10,000 sign-on, depending on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license where practice occurs.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks while ensuring safe, reliable care.
