Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Society in Superior, NE provides individualized nursing care to residents using the full nursing process. The RN collaborates with residents, families and the inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care across all stages of health and wellness.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, resident assessment, education, and delegating tasks as charge nurse when required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• RN license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident assessment, education and interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff.
• Adhere to standards of nursing practice and ethics.
