Job summary

ProMedica Multi Specialty Physicians seeks an RN First Assistant for the Flower Hospital Plastic Surgery department. The role involves assisting surgeons in general and specialized surgeries, preparing patients for procedures, and monitoring post-operative recovery for pain and complications.

Requirements include completion of a course to prepare the RN as a first assistant in surgery, current Ohio nursing licensure, CNOR certification, and at least two years of intraoperative experience.

Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed a course in preparing the registered nurse as a first assistant in surgery.
• Must be able to differentiate colors.
• 2 years of intraoperative clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons in general and specialized surgeries.

• Act as a resource to members of the specialty team to ensure comprehensive and safe patient care.
