Job summary

Mercy St. Louis Hospital in St. Louis, MO, seeks an experienced RN First Assistant (RNFA) to join the Main Operating Room team.

This full-time, day-shift role places you in a fast-paced surgical environment alongside skilled surgeons and multidisciplinary teams. You will support complex procedures and grow RNFA skills within Mercy's comprehensive program. Requires BSN, active MO RN license, 1 year perioperative experience; BLS/ACLS within year; CNOR or RN-First Assistant preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of perioperative nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons in the main operating room.
• Apply RNFA skills to perioperative care.
• Maintain patient safety and sterile technique during procedures.
