Mercy St Louis Hospital is seeking an experienced RN First Assist for the Main Operating Room, PRN. This role employs the nursing process to provide perioperative patient care, supports operative teams, and helps ensure patient safety.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN licensure in Missouri, minimum 1 year perioperative nursing experience, and BLS/ACLS within first year; CNOR or RN-First Assistant certification preferred.

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licensure: Active RN licensure in the state of practice.

Experience: Must have a minimum of 1-year perioperative nursing experience.

Certifications: BLS/ACLS required within first year.

Other: Demonstrates continued competence in assisting and in perioperative nursing.

Preferred: CNOR certification and/or RN-First Assistant certification class preferred.
