Job summary

Powers Health is now hiring RN Fellows for nursing students entering their final years of study. This program provides hands-on experience, close supervision, and skill-building in a supportive environment alongside experienced nurses.

Applicants should be current nursing students graduating in 2027 or 2028, with at least one semester of didactic and clinical coursework completed. Flexible scheduling accommodates academic commitments while gaining real-world nursing exposure.

Qualifications

• Current nursing students enrolled in an accredited school of nursing and graduating in 2027 or 2028.
• Completion of at least one semester of didactic and clinical coursework.
• High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Observe and perform nursing care functions under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
• Measure and document vital signs, height, and weight.
• Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs.
• Perform dressing changes, skin and wound care.
• Assist with Foley catheter insertion and care where trained.
• Support patient mobility, hygiene and comfort.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Participate in learning opportunities, skills development and unit-based training
