Job summary
Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse Fellow for the Acute Care Telemetry/Neuro Unit. This full-time night-shift position involves 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. shifts with weekend and holiday rotations.

Qualifications
- Education: BSN or ADN. If ADN, plan to complete BSN within 5 years.
- Experience: 1 year RN in Critical Care or 1 year in critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
- Certification/Licensure: BLS & ACLS; Virginia RN license or multi-state license.
Responsibilities
- Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and interprets data to inform care plans.
- Formulates individualized plans of care based on assessments.
- Delivers patient care in a patient- and family-centered manner.
- Advocates for patients' rights and coordinates care across disciplines.
- Documents patient care activities and supports the healthcare team with documentation.
