Job summary

MidState Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift as part of the Family Birthing float pool. The RN will follow the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements include CT RN licensure and a BSN is preferred. Previous RN experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy setting are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Connecticut (required).
• BSN preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume environment is recommended.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Develop a care plan using the nursing process to meet patient needs.
• Address physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families.
