Job summary

MidState Medical Center in Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift as part of the Family Birthing float pool. Under the Clinical Manager's supervision, you will provide nursing care in line with the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

The successful candidate will hold a CT RN license with prior RN experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting. BSN preferred; self-directed caregiver with strong patient-family communication.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of Connecticut.
• Must have previous RN experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high volume environment.
• Self-directed in the management of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction and general supervision of the Clinical Manager, the RN provides nursing care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Develops and implements plans of care using the nursing process to meet physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of patients and families.
